The post that inspired this site
At one time or another, surely everyone sees something on the Internet that annoys them to no end. I found something this past month in a post for http://thanksno.com. This is a site to "help" everyone by giving you an easy way to blow off all of your friends and family that send you email you don't want.
My advise to everyone is that if a friend or family sends you email you don't want, you would be better off by pressing the delete button on your email than to "thoughtfully" send them to Thanks.No.. What person who forwards a humorus story on to a friend wants to hear "Gosh, you are annoying me"?
I think the idea is idiotic. Use the Internet to handle those interpersonal chores you can't bring yourself to do. However, that page sure made its way around the Internet a few weeks back.
If people are so weak as to not be able to talk to friends and family, how many other topics must they need help on? We will be posting as many helpful messages as possible in this spot.
The following is the original inspiration post...
Thanks for understanding, and if this same thing ever happens to you, feel free to reply to an email you don’t want by pasting this in:

Thanks. No.
Hi. The person who sent you this link is a friend who likes you a lot but who wants you to respect their email address, their privacy, and their time.
Chances are, this person asked you to visit this page because you did one of these things:
- Forwarded a funny story, a virus warning, or a photo that you enjoyed
- Sent email to lots of people using the “To:” line (instead of the “BCC:” line), thereby exposing your friend's email address to strangers
- CC’d your friend unnecessarily on something you had sent primarily to someone else

Because this person likes getting personal messages from you, but doesn’t want any more email like this, please.
